Pumpkin, Rosemary, Oat Flour Biscuits
Pumpkin, Rosemary, Oat Flour Biscuit
Dry Ingredients:
- 2 ¼ cup Toats flour 
- 1 Tbsp baking powder 
- ½ Tsp salt 
- A dash of cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves 
- 3 Tbsp of Rosemary 
- Optional - a large dash of Nutritional yeast, or parmesan 
Wet Ingredients:
- Combine 1 Tbsp lemon juice and ¾ cup milk (i used buttermilk but any milk or alt. Milk will work) - let sit. 
- Mix in ¼ cup pumpkin puree after milk and lemon juice sit 
Instructions:
- Set oven at 450 
- Mix dry ingredients together 
- In a separate bowl mix lemon juice and milk and let sit for 5 minutes then add in pumpkin puree 
- Combine wet and dry ingredients 
- Chop butter into pieces and mix into batter. Flaky butter in batter = Flaky biscuits 
- Use a spoon and create ½ inch balls of dough and place onto a greased pan 
- Bake for 12 - 14 minutes or until golden 
Pairs well with homemade honey butter on a chilly afternoon.
